Launching Seasonal Collections Across Every Touchpoint
Karen Mabon Collections
Working closely with Karen Mabon, I played a key role in the development and launch of seasonal collections, helping shape products from initial concept through to customer-facing campaigns. My involvement spanned product development, print design, photography, lookbooks, digital marketing assets and campaign creative, ensuring a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint.
As part of the collection development process, I collaborated on print selection, colour development and repeat design, helping refine artwork and identify which concepts were best suited for launch. I also introduced a new CAD and product specification workflow, replacing outdated design files with scalable Illustrator-based templates that improved communication with factories, increased design efficiency and resulted in more accurate product sampling. Alongside this, I redesigned the brand's e-commerce website and created lookbooks, website banners and digital campaign assets to support launches across social media, email marketing and paid advertising, ensuring a seamless customer experience from discovery through to purchase.
My role later expanded into art direction, where I developed creative concepts and mood boards, sourced locations, selected models, styled shoots and directed photography to bring seasonal collections to life. This end-to-end approach helped create cohesive campaigns that strengthened the brand identity and supported successful product launches, including sold-out collections and an Anthropologie collaboration where a print I developed became the best-selling design in the range, leading to additional product orders.
